Karen will speak on her experiences creating, "Ni Hao, Kai-lan!", Nick Jr.'s first ever multi-generational, bi-lingual, animated series featuring a Chinese American protagonist. She will be joined by Executive Producer, Mary Harrington and Head Writer, Sascha Paladino.
After that, stick around and pitch your projects, look for crew, exchange business cards and mingle at this popular AAIFF gathering. Bring plenty of business cards. Open to AAIFF industry badge holders only.

Join us as we unveil the winners to the competitive categories for the 29th AAIFF. Categories include winner and runner ups for the first national V-Clip competition; sponsored by Verizon; Michelob Light Music Video Competition; Best Music Video; One to Watch Best Youth Film; Excellence in Short Filmmaking; and Emerging Director.
Please join us as we celebrate this year's filmmakers and award winners.
Master of Ceremonies Simon Yin from MTV CHI will be joined by guest presenter the FABulous Miss Info from HOT 97 for the awards presentation .
Admission is free, but tickets are limited. Tickets will be issued starting at 5:45PM at the Asia Society box office at a first come first serve basis. No reservations.
